Jun 15

On June 13th – 14th, Troop 325 had a great trip on and around Coeur d'Alene Lake, Idaho. We started off on Saturday by unloading our canoes at Mica Bay and canoeing about 14 miles to Harrison. When we reached Harrison, we unloaded our bikes and put the canoes on the trailer. After a "carbo load" at the local ice cream shop, we biked 7 miles on the Trail of the Coeur d’Alene’s to Chatcolet where we camped and had some delicious Dutch oven dinners. On Sunday, after we dried out from the rainstorm during the night, and biked 35 miles to Cataldo. Along the way, we saw bald eagles and moose. The trip was excellent fun. A special “thanks” goes out to Larry for shuttling all the gear from stop to stop while the rest of us played.
